From rites to customs: an immersive, interactive tour. Commissioned by the International Falconry Association, PLUO was asked by the Lucie Hospital scenography agency to bring this ambitious project to life.

The specifications called for the creation of an educational trail, focusing on the development of this ancient art throughout history and highlighting its codes throughout the world. The brief also stipulated that particular attention should be paid to Middle Eastern traditions.

Encouraging people to push their boundaries...

The idea was to capture the visitor's attention right from the front... and to maintain this surprise effect throughout the visit.

Our developers carried out a technical study covering all the furniture, including the integration of audiovisual and multimedia devices along the exhibition route. The entirety of the furniture was produced in our joinery and painting workshops.

Tailor-made solutions for atypical spaces

The main difficulty lay in the building's atypical appearance, with a very narrow, high and irregular space to fit out.

The walls have been lined with layers of lacquered panels, some of which symbolise dune landscapes in a highly graphic and dynamic way. Other walls feature large flat areas to showcase a range of graphic and educational interventions.

As well as making the furniture, PLUO also completed the flooring and painting. Visitors tell us: "Visiting this museum is like travelling and learning at the same time. A secret treasure trove of little-known art".
