Mrs and Mr Tribolet share the impact of their project...
We are delighted with the final result of our new pharmacy. The layout is practical and understated, exactly as we wanted. Circulation is smooth and storage is fully optimised.
Our team also feels much more comfortable in their daily work, particularly thanks to the larger preparation area, which now includes storage spaces tailored to their needs.
Patients have also embraced the new premises. They appreciate the modern, bright environment as well as the large parking area.
Since opening five months ago, our turnover has increased by around 15%.
From a former garage to a pharmacy: A new location for a fresh start
Previously located in the village, the pharmacy moved 400 metres away to a main road near a motorway exit. This decision was driven by clear advantages: improved visibility, easier parking, and double the surface area.
The chosen building was a former car garage — a place full of character, with generous volumes, exposed beams, and impressive ceiling height.
The challenge was to preserve this architectural identity while creating a welcoming and highly functional pharmacy.

Curved design: Breaking away from the corridor effect
The space extends lengthwise, a configuration inherited from the building’s original function. To avoid a corridor-like feel, we introduced concave product areas that structure the space and create a more dynamic flow.
The displays, entirely designed with curves, encourage natural circulation. Patients are gradually guided towards the counter area without any sense of rigidity.
This approach transforms the building’s depth into an asset rather than a constraint.

The counter area and crescent-shaped OTC zone
The counter area is organised around a large OTC space, whose crescent shape enhances both functionality and clarity.
This is also where the building’s original architectural features are most visible. The exposed beams and impressive ceiling height contrast with the contemporary furniture.
The dialogue between industrial heritage and modern design gives the pharmacy its distinctive atmosphere.

A simple and functional back office
On the ground floor, an open space structured with light partitions integrates the laboratory, unpacking area, and technical functions.
Upstairs, the team benefits from a break area, kitchenette, and bathroom.
The existing drawer units were retained and redesigned.
During the project, the decision was made not to install a robot. However, the layout has been designed to allow for future integration if needed.

The works and our role
This project also included structural works requiring planning permission. Mr Tribolet was already working with an architect and contractor.
We integrated into this existing framework, taking responsibility for the interior layout design, window frames, electrical systems, and furniture production.
An ambitious transformation, delivered with enthusiasm
Every collaboration is unique. This one with Mrs and Mr Tribolet is a great example.
We warmly thank them for their trust, as well as their team, architect, and contractor for the quality of the collaboration throughout the project.
